ARTIST BIO

Philip Notaro is a 22-year-old hailing from Santa Clara, California. He is a college senior at Pacific University, pursuing an Art Design degree and has completed a minor in Outdoor Leadership. He most enjoys spending his time doing metal working, both through welding and at the forge. He is quite proud of his role in starting the forge program at Pacific.  Philip is an Eagle Scout and enjoys climbing, camping, roller hockey and board games. During the summer you can find him teaching Climbing to Scouts at BSA Camp Hi-Sierra. In the future he hopes to serve as a Park Ranger, either at Yosemite or somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
